§ 1021-s. Severability. The provisions of this title are severable,\nand if any clause, sentence, paragraph, action or part of this title, or\nthe application thereof to any person or circumstance, shall be adjudged\nby any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable,\nsuch judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder of\nthis title or the application of such provision to any other person or\ncircumstance, but shall be confined in its operation to the clause,\nsentence, paragraph, section or part thereof or person or circumstance\ndirectly involved in the controversy in which such judgment shall have\nbeen rendered.\n
