§ 2772. Limited liability. Neither members, officers or employees of\nthe authority, nor any municipality, or an officer or employee thereof\nacting on behalf of the authority, while acting within the scope of\ntheir authority, shall be subject to any personal liability resulting\nfrom the construction, maintenance or operation of any of the properties\nof the authority or from carrying out any of the powers expressly given\nin this title provided, however, that this section shall not be held to\napply to any independent contractor.\n
