* § 2899-r. Penalties. 1. Nothing in this article shall be construed\nto limit professional discipline or civil liability resulting from\nconduct in violation of this article, negligent conduct, or intentional\nmisconduct by any person.\n 2. Conduct in violation of this article shall be subject to applicable\ncriminal liability under state law, including, where appropriate and\nwithout limitation, offenses constituting homicide, forgery, coercion,\nand related offenses, or federal law.\n * NB Effective August 5, 2026\n
