* § 2899-s. Severability. If any provision of this article or any\napplication of any provision of this article, is held to be invalid, or\nto violate or be inconsistent with any federal law or regulation, that\nshall not affect the validity or effectiveness of any other provision of\nthis article, or of any other application of any provision of this\narticle, which can be given effect without that provision or\napplication; and to that end, the provisions and applications of this\narticle are severable.\n * NB Effective August 5, 2026\n
