N.Y. Public Lands Law § 18

§ 18. Expenses chargeable to special funds. All expenses of surveys,\nappraisements or other expenses attendant on the sale of any lands\nbelonging to any of the special funds of the state, shall be chargeable\non and paid out of the funds, respectively, to which such lands belong.\n
