N.Y. Public Lands Law § 38

§ 38. Payment on resale. The purchaser shall complete the sale,\nimmediately, by paying into the treasury the amount due on the land and\nreceiving a patent, or by executing a proper bond and receiving a new\ncertificate of the sale.\n
