N.Y. Penal Law § 180.45

§ 180.45 Sports bribe receiving.\n A person is guilty of sports bribe receiving when:\n 1. Being a sports participant, he solicits, accepts or agrees to\naccept any benefit from another person upon an agreement or\nunderstanding that he will thereby be influenced not to give his best\nefforts in a sports contest; or\n 2. Being a sports official, he solicits, accepts or agrees to accept\nany benefit from another person upon an agreement or understanding that\nhe will perform his duties improperly.\n Sports bribe receiving is a class E felony.\n
