N.Y. Penal Law § 205.35

§ 205.35 Evading arrest by concealment of identity.\n A person is guilty of evading arrest by concealment of identity when,\nin the course of the commission of a felony or class A misdemeanor or in\nthe immediate flight therefrom, such person wears a mask or facial\ncovering or otherwise obscures their face, completely or partially, for\nno legitimate purpose with the intent to prevent their identification,\napprehension, or arrest for such crime.\n Evading arrest by concealment of identity is a class B misdemeanor.\n
