N.Y. Penal Law § 222.30

§ 222.30 Criminal possession of cannabis in the third degree.\n A person is guilty of criminal possession of cannabis in the third\ndegree when he or she knowingly and unlawfully possesses:\n 1. cannabis and such cannabis weighs more than sixteen ounces; or\n 2. concentrated cannabis and such concentrated cannabis weighs more\nthan five ounces.\n Criminal possession of cannabis in the third degree is a class A\nmisdemeanor.\n
