Pari-mutuel employees to be citizens and residents

§ 249. Pari-mutuel employees to be citizens and residents. At least\neighty-five per centum of the persons employed each day by a racing\ncorporation conducting a race meeting, to operate or assist in the\noperation of its pari-mutuel system of betting shall be citizens of the\nUnited States and residents of the state of New York for at least two\nyears preceding the date of their employment. Each person, prior to his\nemployment by a racing corporation, shall be required to execute and\nsubmit to such racing corporation a duly verified affidavit setting\nforth his qualifications for employment pursuant to the provisions of\nthis section.\n
