N.Y. Religious Corporations Law § 350

§ 350. Pastoral relations. The election, calling, settlement,\ninstallation, dismissal, removal, translation, constituting or\ndissolving of the pastoral relation, or fixing or changing of the salary\nof a minister, or taking any action for or toward any such purpose, and\nthe calling and conduct of a meeting of any such church for any such\npurpose, and the qualification of voters at any such meeting are not\nauthorized or regulated or controlled by any provision of this chapter,\nbut the same shall be in all respects, done, and regulated, and any\nmeeting therefor called, conducted, and controlled, only in accordance\nwith the laws, regulations, practice, discipline, books of government,\nrules and usages of the ecclesiastical governing body of the\nByelorussian Autocephalic Orthodox Church, except that the salary of any\nsuch minister may be increased at any corporate meeting of any such\nchurch.\n
