Incorporation of Coptic Orthodox Churches

§ 452. Incorporation of Coptic Orthodox Churches. An unincorporated\nCoptic Orthodox Church in this state may become incorporated as a church\nby executing, acknowledging and filing a certificate of incorporation,\nstating the corporate name by which such church shall be known and the\ncounty, town, city or village where its principal place of worship is,\nor is intended to be located. A certificate of incorporation of an\nunincorporated Coptic Orthodox Church shall be executed and acknowledged\nby the bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese in which its place of\nworship is located and by two or more persons who shall be appointed by\nthe bishop from among the priests and deacons of such church. Upon\nfiling such certificate such church shall be a corporation by the name\nstated in the certificate.\n
