§ 296. Recording copies of instruments which are in secretary of\nstate's office. A copy of an instrument affecting real property, within\nthe state, recorded or filed in the office of the secretary of state,\ncertified in the manner required to entitle the same to be read in\nevidence, may be recorded with such certificate in the office of any\nrecording officer of the state.\n
