§ 146. References in laws and documents. Reference in any general,\nspecial or local law, rule, regulation or public document to an existing\nsection, subdivision or other provision of article six of the civil\nservice law, as in force immediately prior to July first, nineteen\nhundred fifty-six, shall be deemed and construed to refer to the\ncorresponding section, subdivision or other provision of this article as\namended by this act, or as amended or supplemented thereafter.\n
