N.Y. Second Class Cities Law § 80

§ 80. Penalties for violation of preceding section. Any officer or\nmember of any board or department of the city, making or voting for any\ncontract prohibited by the preceding section, or auditing any account or\nclaim under any such contract, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.\n
