§ 109. Inconsistent acts. The provisions of any act and parts of acts,\nincluding the charter of Greater New York and the charter of any other\ncity of the state, which are inconsistent with this article, and insofar\nonly as they are inconsistent with this article, shall have no\napplication to the rights, powers and obligations conferred or created\nby and under authority of this article or to any proceedings thereunder.\n Nothing in this article shall be construed to prevent the organization\nof a corporation under the provisions of article four of the business\ncorporation law for the purpose of owning, controlling or operating\nwarehouses, docks, wharves or water craft, but no corporation formed for\nany such purpose under the provisions of the business corporation law\nshall have the right or power to acquire real property by condemnation.\n
