N.Y. Transp. Law § 271

§ 271. Codification of changes. The commissioner of transportation\nshall prepare or cause to be prepared for submission to the next regular\nsession of the legislature a codification of the laws relating to the\nfunctions, powers and duties of the department of transportation as\namended, repealed or modified by this chapter and other acts related\nthereto and such other measures as may be appropriate to effectuate the\npurposes of this chapter and such acts.\n
