N.Y. Town Law § 69

§ 69. Duties of town board with respect to justice courts. Each town\nboard shall provide for each justice of the peace such statutes,\nmanuals, books, forms and supplies as may be necessary for the proper\nadministration of his office. The expenses incurred in complying with\nthe foregoing provisions shall be a town charge within the meaning of\nthis chapter.\n
