§ 115-c. Emergency ambulance service vehicle. An emergency ambulance\nservice vehicle shall be defined as an appropriately equipped motor\nvehicle owned or operated by an ambulance service as defined in section\nthree thousand one of the public health law and used for the purpose of\ntransporting emergency medical personnel and equipment to sick or\ninjured persons.\n
