§ 2254. Registration record. Upon the issuance of a registration for a\nvessel, as provided in this article, the commissioner shall enter upon\nthe records of the department the registration of such vessel under the\nregistration number assigned to such vessel as provided in this article,\nand in any other manner which he deems appropriate.\n
