§ 404-h. Distinctive plates for members of the Jewish War Veterans of\nAmerica. 1. Any member of the Jewish War Veterans of America residing in\nthis state shall, upon request, be issued a license plate bearing the\nwords "Jewish War Veterans of America". Application for said license\nplate shall be filed with the commissioner in such form and detail as\nthe commissioner shall prescribe.\n 2. The distinctive plate authorized herein shall be issued upon proof,\nsatisfactory to the commissioner, that the applicant is a member of the\nJewish War Veterans of America.\n 3. A distinctive plate issued pursuant to this section shall be issued\nin the same manner as other number plates upon payment of the regular\nregistration fee prescribed by section four hundred one of this article\nprovided, however, that an additional one-time service charge of ten\ndollars shall be charged for such plate.\n
