§ 499-a. Metropolitan commuter transportation district supplemental\nregistration fee. Registrants residing in the metropolitan commuter\ntransportation district shall upon the registration or renewal of a\nmotor vehicle be charged a supplemental registration fee to be paid to\nthe commissioner or his or her agent in accordance with the provisions\nof this article.\n
