§ 509-w. Penalties. Upon conviction for a violation of any provision\nof this article or the rules and regulations of the commissioner of\ntransportation promulgated pursuant thereto, the court shall impose a\nsentence consisting of a fine of not less than two hundred fifty dollars\nnor more than one thousand dollars.\n
