§ 20-2002 Traffic orders, rules or regulations. In the event the board\nof trustees of a village adopts any order, rule or regulation pursuant\nto the authority of the vehicle and traffic law or delegates any powers\ngranted to such village by the vehicle and traffic law to any official,\nboard or agency of such village as authorized by section sixteen hundred\nthree of the vehicle and traffic law, any orders, rules or regulations\nadopted by such board of trustees, official, board or agency shall take\neffect immediately upon adoption, subject to the limitations imposed by\nsection sixteen hundred eighty-four of the vehicle and traffic law,\nwithout notice or hearing, providing traffic control devices complying\nwith the manual and specifications thereof as adopted by the department\nof transportation are placed and maintained as shall be deemed necessary\nto indicate and carry out the provisions of such orders, rules or\nregulations as required by section sixteen hundred eight-two of the\nvehicle and traffic law.\n No orders, rules or regulations heretofore adopted by any board of\ntrustees, or by any official, board or agency as authorized by the\nprovisions of section sixteen hundred three of the vehicle and traffic\nlaw shall be deemed invalid or ineffective solely because such order was\nadopted without notice or hearing.\n
