§ 12. Compensation not allowed for first seven days. No compensation\nshall be allowed for the first seven days of disability, except the\nbenefits provided for in section thirteen of this chapter, provided,\nhowever, that in case the injury results in disability of more than\nfourteen days, the compensation shall be allowed from the date of the\ndisability.\n
