Ohio Rev. Code Ann. § 2907.17

Notice of indictment of mental health professional sent to regulatory or licensing board or agency

Effective: March 21, 2025; Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 109 - 135th General Assembly

If a mental health professional or a licensed medical professional is indicted or charged and bound over to the court of common pleas for trial for an alleged violation of division (A)(10) or (11) of section 2907.03 of the Revised Code, whichever is applicable, the prosecuting attorney handling the case shall send written notice of the indictment or the charge and bind over to the regulatory or licensing board or agency, if any, that has the administrative authority to suspend or revoke the mental health professional's or licensed medical professional's professional license, certification, registration, or authorization.
