Each employer, before employing any teacher to whom this chapter applies, shall notify such person of the person's duties and obligations under this chapter as a condition of the person's employment.
Any such appointment or reappointment of any teacher in the public day schools of the state, or service upon indefinite tenure, shall be conditioned upon the teacher's acceptance of this chapter, as a part of the contract.
