School energy performance contracting loan fund created

Effective: August 14, 2025; Latest Legislation: House Bill 15 - 136th General Assembly

(A) The school energy performance contracting loan fund is created in the custody of the treasurer of state, but is not part of the state treasury. The money in the fund shall be used for purposes of funding loans issued under section 3313.377 of the Revised Code. The fund shall consist of the funds transferred from the solar generation fund, repayments of loans from this fund, interest on amounts in the school energy performance contracting loan fund, and any appropriations, grants, or gifts made to the fund.

(B) The fund shall be administered by the Ohio facilities construction commission, and the commission shall request the treasurer of state to create the account for the fund. The treasurer of state shall distribute the money in the fund in accordance with directions provided by the commission.
