Governor's merit scholarship residency commitment

Effective: September 30, 2025; Latest Legislation: House Bill 96 - 136th General Assembly

Beginning with first-time scholarships awarded for fiscal year 2027, each student who accepts a scholarship under the governor's merit scholarship program shall sign a statement of commitment to reside in this state for the three years immediately following the individual's graduation from an institution of higher education in this state.
