Ohio Rev. Code Ann. § 4759.99

Penalty

Effective: September 30, 2025; Latest Legislation: House Bill 96 - 136th General Assembly

Whoever violates section 4759.02 of the Revised Code is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. If the offender has been previously convicted once of a violation of section 4759.02 of the Revised Code, then the offender is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. If the offender has been previously convicted more than once of a violation of section 4759.02 of the Revised Code, then the offender is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.

Whoever violates division (B)(1) or (2) of section 4759.14 of the Revised Code is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree on a first offense; on each subsequent offense, the offender is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.

Whoever violates division (B) of section 4759.05 of the Revised Code is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
