Ohio Rev. Code Ann. § 5180.704

[Former R.C. 5101.805, amended and renumbered by H.B. 96, 136th General Assembly, effective 9/30/2025] Ohio commission on fatherhood - recommendations for TANF fatherhood programs

(A) Subject to division (E) of section 5101.801 of the Revised Code, the Ohio commission on fatherhood, created under section 5180.70 of the Revised Code, may make recommendations to the director of children and youth concerning the funding, approval, and implementation of fatherhood programs in this state that meet at least one of the four purposes of the temporary assistance for needy families block grant, as specified in 42 U.S.C. 601.

(B) The department of children and youth may provide funding under this section to government entities and, to the extent permitted by federal law, private, not-for-profit entities with which the department enters into agreements under division (B)(4) of section 5101.801 of the Revised Code.
