That portion of the road known as state route number sixteen, running in a northerly and southerly direction between the municipal corporation of Coshocton and township road number two hundred seventy-nine in Coshocton county, shall be known as the "Staff Sergeant Paul C. Mardis Jr. Memorial Highway."
The director of transportation may erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name.
