Ohio Rev. Code Ann. § 5923.33

Uniforms and insignia worn unlawfully

Effective: October 1, 1953; Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly

No person shall wear any uniform or any device, strap, knot, or insignia of any design or character used as a designation of rank, grade, or office, such as by law or by general regulation promulgated or prescribed for the use of the organized militia of Ohio.

This section does not apply to a member of the army or navy of the United States, the organized militia of Ohio or any other state, members of associations composed of soldiers honorably discharged from the service of the United States or any members of the order of sons of veterans, and the faculty and students of educational institutions where military science is prescribed as a part of the course of instruction.
