Compelling Legislature to perform or omit act

R.L. 1910, § 2167

Any person who willfully compels or attempts to compel either of the houses composing the Legislature to pass, amend or reject any bill or resolution, or to grant or refuse any petition, or to perform or omit to perform any other official act, shall be guilty of a Class C2 felony offense punishable by imprisonment as provided for in subsections B through F of Section 20M of this title, or by a fine of not less than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) nor more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00), or both.
