Okla. Stat. tit. 59, § 1820.9

Marketing, distribution or sale of portable fire extinguisher or fire suppression systems - Requirements - Exceptions

A. No person shall market, distribute, or sell any portable fire extinguisher or fire suppression system in this state unless the following requirements are met:

1. The portable fire extinguisher or fire suppression system complies with standards adopted by the State Fire Marshal Commission; and 2. The portable fire extinguisher or fire suppression system has been examined by and bears the label of a nationally recognized testing laboratory approved by the State Fire Marshal Commission as qualified to test portable fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems. B. The State Fire Marshal Commission may grant reasonable exceptions to the provisions of this section when the portable fire extinguisher or fire suppression system is intended for industrial use in places to which the public is not invited or admitted. The provisions of this section apply to the state and any political subdivision thereof.
