ORS 291.730

Known as the Budget Accountability Act

The act spans §§ 291–291 (251 sections).

2019 c.50 §1

(1) Unless authorized by the State Treasurer, the state government, as defined in ORS 174.111, may not accept payments using cryptocurrency.

(2) As used in this section, “cryptocurrency” means digital or virtual currency that relies on cryptography to effect transfers and a decentralized network to record transactions.
