Known as the Oregon Motorist Information Act

1975 c.336 §15

After the Travel Information Council has repaid the State Highway Fund for all moneys advanced or owed it may then utilize any funds received in excess of expenses to reimburse the Department of Transportation for such part of the cost of providing public service information in sign plazas in rest areas as the council may decide and also for the acquisition of outdoor advertising signs located outside of commercial or industrial zones adjacent to secondary highways. The Travel Information Council may enter into such agreements with the department as are necessary to carry out the provisions of this section.
