1999 c.872 §2

(1) In order to further the policy established in ORS 390.610 and to preserve the right of public access to the ocean shore, the State Parks and Recreation Department shall coordinate with affected local governments to provide increased public access to the coastal shorelands.

(2) The State Parks and Recreation Department may:

(a) Ensure that beach access sites are posted for public use;

(b) Maintain parking and trash disposal facilities at beach access sites; and

(c) Maintain beach access sites in a safe and litter-free manner.
