ORS 413.105

All sums of money recovered by or paid to the Oregon Health Authority as reimbursement for funds expended for medical assistance shall be paid into the Oregon Health Authority Fund established by ORS 413.101 and may be used for the provision and administration of medical assistance. However, the United States Government is entitled to a share of any amount received as its interest may appear, which shall be promptly paid to the United States Government.

(2) Before making the deposit under subsection (1) of this section, the Department of Justice shall deduct from the proceeds the amount of costs and expenses of the department associated with the settlement.

(3) As used in this section, “Juul Settlement” means the settlement between the State of Oregon and Juul Labs, Inc. announced on September 6, 2022, and any modifications thereto.
