ORS 421.229

1979 c.486 §5

When a treaty is in effect between the United States and a foreign country providing for the transfer of a convicted criminal offender who is a citizen or national of a foreign country to the foreign country of which the offender is a citizen or national, the Governor is authorized to act, in accordance with the treaty, on behalf of the State of Oregon and to approve the transfer of the convicted criminal offender, provided that such offender approves of the transfer in writing.
