Judges authorized by law to issue search warrants, upon application of the State Fire Marshal, or deputies or assistants of the State Fire Marshal, may issue an inspection warrant whenever an inspection or investigation of any building or premises is required or authorized by any state or local statute, ordinance or rule relating to fire cause investigation or fire safety inspection.
