In accordance with ORS chapter 183, the State Board of Architect Examiners may:

(1) Adopt reasonable rules necessary for the administration of the laws the board is charged with administering; and

(2) Adopt reasonable rules prescribing standards of professional conduct for architects and rules requiring continuing professional education for architects. In adopting rules under this subsection, the board shall consider national standards and practices as a means of facilitating reciprocal registration and licensing of architects among jurisdictions recognized by the board. The board shall also consider local practices.
