Known as the Oregon Money Transmitters Act

The act spans §§ 717–717 (49 sections).

1999 c.571 §19

(1) The responsibility of a licensee to any person for a money transmission conducted on that person’s behalf by the licensee or the licensee’s authorized delegate shall be limited to the amount of money transmitted or the face amount of the payment instrument purchased plus statutory interest.

(2) In addition to any amounts under subsection (1) of this section, the court may award a prevailing party reasonable costs and attorney fees.
