Except if the manufacturer disclaims the warranty in the manner prescribed by ORS 72.8010 to 72.8200, on every sale or consignment for sale of a consumer good sold at retail in this state by a manufacturer who has reason to know at the time of the retail sale that the good is required for a particular purpose and that the buyer relies on the manufacturer’s skill or judgment to select or furnish a suitable good the manufacturer gives the manufacturer’s implied warranty of fitness.
