ORS 734.510 to 734.710 apply to all kinds of direct insurance except life, health, title, surety, credit, mortgage guaranty, home protection insurance, wet marine and transportation insurance, insurance against the risk of economic loss assumed under a less than fully insured employee health benefit plan, whether issued or delivered as health or casualty insurance, and any insurance that a state or the federal government provides or guarantees.
