Clerks and supplies and solicitor

The township shall provide to the civil service commission, on its requisition, clerical assistance necessary for the work of the civil service commission. The township shall provide a suitable and convenient room for the use of the civil service commission. The civil service commission shall order from the township the necessary stationery, postage, printing or supplies. The civil service commission may appoint a solicitor. The township shall pay for the solicitor's services to the civil service commission. The township may place a reasonable limit on the amount of compensation authorized each year for the services of the solicitor. The elected and appointed officials of the township shall aid the civil service commission in carrying out this subchapter.
