Tourist promotion agencies

(a) General rule.--The board of commissioners may appropriate money annually to a tourist promotion agency to assist the agency in carrying out tourist promotional activities.

(b) Definition.--As used in this section, the term "tourist promotion agency" has the same meaning given to it under section 2 of the act of July 4, 2008 (P.L.621, No.50), known as the Tourism Promotion Act.
