S.C. Code Ann. § 11-60-20

Requirements for state agency to enter into a pay-for-success contract

2021 Act No. 52 (S.461), SECTION 2, eff May 17, 2021.

Subject to Section 11-60-30, a state agency may enter into a pay-for-success contract only if the state agency head explains in writing how the contract will produce a quantifiable public benefit or financial savings to the State, by achieving meaningful impact outcomes and not simply short-term unsustainable outcomes, and outlines any risks associated with the proposed project.
