S.C. Code Ann. § 40-35-30

Supervision of facilities and centers by licensed administrators

2004 Act No. 293, SECTION 1.

(A) A nursing home or community residential care facility within this State may not operate except under the supervision of an administrator licensed in accordance with this chapter.

(B) A habilitation center for persons with intellectual disability or persons with related conditions, funded in whole or in part by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, must be under the supervision of a licensed nursing home administrator or a qualified intellectual disability professional who has been determined by the department to have the requisite training and experience.
