S.C. Code Ann. § 40-6-200

Penalties

2000 Act No. 318, SECTION 1.

A person who violates the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be imprisoned not more than one year or fined not more than one thousand dollars.
